There's nothing wrong with T&A either.
What? I had a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy back in '88 and it helped with ameliorating my chronic strep throat, and of course completely cured the tonsillitis.
What are the snickers for? Damn it, am I missing something again?

Woa I didn't realise that. *sigh* And I thought that was just a neat lil gift to minstrels. Minstrels can equip all instruments; other classes only get one instrument each. It is kinda weird that the minstrel is the healing/buffing class, but I must say it is a fun class to play. I think it makes s...

Anyone can play music in LOTRO; all classes get the ability to equip an instrument at lvl 5 or so IIRC. It's a very primitive system still but a great idea.

I hear ya. There isn't a lot that's new there, and it does end up feeling like all the other MMORPGs to me. I tend to get burned out on those relatively quickly, though I always enjoy the exploration and discovery phase. That's a genre thing though in my case; I prefer games where my character can m...

Well, they lifted the NDA on the beta testers, and now I can talk about Lord of the Rings Online. I thought I'd share a few thoughts about how the game looks, feels, and plays. First, an overview. There are four races of Free Peoples: Men, Dwarves, Elves, and Hobbits. There are seven classes: Champi...

Not really. Doug's wickedly clever idea would have allowed us to exceed the original module size limitations anyhow, so we've been planning a larger world.

For clarification, Gold Dwarves, Stoutheart Halflings, Sun (Gold) Elves, and Wild (Green) Elves are sub-races, right? Hence, they will most likely get axed? Ayup. Instead of Sun and Moon elves, we have High Elves (often just called Elves as they're the default) and Ghost Elves, as well as Drangonar...

Does it apply the cross-class caps if you're not leveling in that class? So if you're a Barb/Rogue 11/1 and you're leveling in Barb, does it apply the cross-class caps for Hide or allow all Barb & Rogue skills as class skills? In that situation the cap for Hide is Level +3 because Hide is a cla...

If you become friends and group up are you not considered a guild of some kind. As long as you keep your group in context of the game and keep it totally RPed. What should it matter. In A2, we use these terms a little differently than in A1. A Society is a collection of NPCs and PCs. PCs can join a...
