Cool company doing software for IG economies. This would be cool to have in a NWN world.

This is a very clear way of describing the changes Verg. I'm very excited to play with the new system. It's going to open up so many possibilities for the players.

I've been playing MechAssault while up late with the new baby. MechAssault 2 just arrived today and I've played a bit. I had forgotten how much better it is. This game rocks, I almost want my son to be up at 2 in the morning...

It would be a simple matter to set up two of the cities as rivals in the mage-superpower stakes. It could be vaguely along alignment lines, with each guild being oriented to particular alignments, without refusing training to anyone. This is a cool idea. Set up a rivalry between the groups that tra...

Alright, you know we can't use the Forgotten Realms names for:
Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep
Red Wizard of Thay
But what do you all suggest that we change them too? We're kicking around some ideas but I'm interested in getting a larger sample of ideas. |

I far, far prefer the Avlis 2 crafting system, where any OOC "mechanical" requirements are told to you up front, not spread via trial and error and word of mouth. This is correct. We will be presenting all of the OOC class information up-front like adventuring classes. We will also be pro...

My point was the fact that I now must sacrifice a feat in order to enchant, which I dont particularly like, I never really had a problem with 5 ranks of pick lock secretly having a bonus to pick herbs or whatnot, skills and feats used to enhance are one thing, being required is totally different in...

Enchanting is both simple and complex. I understand the desire to get more information about the cool stuff you'll be able to make with the crafting system. Let me say that to the players, it will be a very flexible system that allows extensive customization of properties. On the back-end, we will d...

Paladin is about how you RP it, not about how many levels you have. IMHO, as a player (not a DM here): Bad: Taking Paladin levels, then other class levels, and not RPing a Holy Warrior of Gorethar. Good: Taking Paladin levels, then other class levels, and RPing that you're a Holy Warrior with a wid...

At the intersection of Realism and Fun, I typically lean towards the Fun path. Crafting is already quite a complex system. We had considered having Favored Races for certain crafting classes (rather than specific items) but I'm not sure we'll actually implement that idea. One of the purposes of craf...
